Description   The Metal Queen Excluder prevents the queen from laying eggs in the honey supers above the brood chamber. The wires are perfectly spaced to easily allow worker bees to pass through while the queen remains in the brood chamber. The Metal Queen Excluder is designed to lie as flat as possible between the brood chambers and honey supers while maintaining the critical bee space between the brood chamber and honey supers. Maintaining proper bee space cuts down on the production of burr comb.
