Description   The West Beetle Trap is a chemical free method for controlling the small hive beetle. Simply place the West Beetle Trap on the bottom board and add a small amount of vegetable oil. The beetles are small enough that they will easily fall through the grate while the bees stay above. The West Beetle Trap is made of black plastic. The top grate is easily removed for inspection, cleaning, and adding vegetable oil.
